Hello readers. My name is Rebecca. I am a Yankee by birth, but I currently live in the south. I love hot tea, and good books, animals, and traveling. Absolute bliss is when I can combine all my loves (for example, reading a good book at a cafe abroad, with my dog and husband in tow. Perfect. Hasn't happened yet, but would be nice).
On April 21st of this year, I married my boyfriend of three years- a second Lt who can also bears the title of being the first boy I ever kissed- and the first one I ever loved. With our nuptials began our adventure together. Military families, you know the life. I know what to expect, but I am still nervously excited for all that life as a military wife holds for me.
This blog is a way for me to log all that the Life of an Air Force Wife includes- be it good or bad. So far, the bad side seems limited to moving, deployments, and only ever knowing the last name of your husband's friends.
On the plus side, I was playing "Taboo" the other day and the word was "Payday"; all I had to do was shout "1st and 15th!" and our military friends guessed it right away. Fun times, fun times.
Anyway, this blog is basically just the ramblings of my journey from college single girl to military married woman.
